Acer aspire e15 575g-50al with RAM 1x8 Gb DDR4 2400

I have bought 2x 8 Gb DDR4 2400 Crucial

I Install both and system doesn't start

I install one in slot 1 and system start

I do all combinations with new memories and the old one and every time I use slot 2 the system doesn't start.

Any idea will be welcome :-)

    • Your Acer Aspire E15 575G50AL supports up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM, and each slot can handle up to 16GB of DDR4 2400MHz RAM.
    • The new Crucial 2x 8GB DDR4 2400MHz RAM should be compatible with your laptop model.
    • Remove the new RAM sticks, clean the contacts with a soft cloth, and firmly re-insert them into the slots.
    • Slot 2 might be causing issues. Try placing the old RAM in slot 1 and the new RAM in slot 2, or vice versa.
    • Visit the Acer Support page to check for any BIOS updates available for your laptop. Sometimes, a BIOS update can resolve compatibility issues.

In BIOS have you changed the Sata mode from RST-Optane-Raid to AHCI? Do that, you may have to press Ctrl+S to see the Sata options, save changes on exit or press F10 in Bios.

Tested all that (bios udpate, cleaning the contacs …) with a new pair of ram memories and I get the same issue, when I use the slot 2 the computer does't start
