Since you mentioned NordVPN, removing it may help. Ensure no other VPNs or network-related software is running.

Use command prompts as Administrator to reset TCP/IP and Winsock settings. Run below commands one by one-
    netsh int ip reset
    netsh winsock reset

If your laptop freezes when connecting to the internet or adjusting network settings, it could be due to several potential issues:-

Driver Issues: Outdated or corrupt network drivers can cause freezing. Check for updates to your network adapter drivers through the device manager or the manufacturer's website.

Conflicting Software: Antivirus or firewall software may interfere with network connections. Try temporarily disabling them to see if the problem persists.

Hardware Problems: Faulty hardware, such as a failing network card or RAM issues, can lead to freezes. Running hardware diagnostics can help identify these problems.

Network Configuration: Incorrect network settings, such as a misconfigured IP address or DNS settings, might cause conflicts. Resetting your network settings could help.

Operating System Issues: Corrupted system files or an outdated operating system can lead to instability. Running a system file check (using sfc /scannow in the command prompt) might resolve this.
Malware: Malicious software can also cause system instability. Running a full system scan with an updated antivirus program is advisable.

Resource Overload: If your laptop is low on RAM or CPU resources, connecting to the internet could push it over the edge. Check your task manager for resource usage and close unnecessary applications.
    Steps to Troubleshoot:

Update Drivers: Go to Device Manager, right-click your network adapter, and select "Update driver."
Check for Windows Updates: Ensure your OS is up to date.

Run Hardware Diagnostics: Use built-in tools from your laptop’s manufacturer.

Disable Antivirus/Firewall: Temporarily turn off security software to test if it’s the cause.

Reset Network Settings: Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Status, and look for the option to reset.
If these steps don’t resolve the issue, consider seeking professional technical support, as the problem may require deeper investigation.

First, go to Device Manager, find Network adapters, and locate your Intel or MTX card (whichever one you  have). Rightclick it and choose Properties, then go to the Driver tab and select Update Driver. From there,  choose Browse my computer for drivers, and then select Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my  computer. Pick the latest WiFi driver from the list and reinstall it. If your WiFi still disconnects, completely  uninstall the WiFi and Bluetooth drivers from Device Manager. Next, go to Control Panel, uninstall the  Bluetooth software program, and then do a clean install of the latest WiFi and Bluetooth drivers for your  Swift Go 14 laptop model from the manufacturer's website. Good luck! Hope this helps.
