Hi, turn off system sounds (see red box picture)

If the sound persists you have a hardware issue and should take the laptop to acer Services in your country. If it is a system sound you can disable that for a certain action like the Windows startup sound.

is there anyway to check if its a hardware problem? cause ive been thinking is a hardware problem too, but dont know a way to check if the system lets me know, like the mini dump or event viewer

    Hello,

You can use the Nirsoft USBLogView tool if you suspect that a device or USB Host Controller is malfunctioning.

And thus, monitor whether intermittent disconnections are occurring and consequently causing these stuttering problems.

Event Viewer (eventvwr.msc) -> Windows Logs -> System, may also give some clues.
