Screen bleeding is relatively common in IPS displays, and it typically cannot be completely eliminated. Some screens may exhibit less bleeding, while others may show more. However, if the screen bleeding significantly interferes with your experience while using your laptop or playing games, it is not considered normal. In such cases, you should contact the seller to inquire about a return or replacement.

If the bleeding is minor, applying gentle pressure around the affected area might help. But be careful not to press too hard, as this could worsen the problem. If the screen bleeding is severe, it's best to take your phone to a repair shop.
Under normal lighting conditions, that's ~30 – 50% depending on your display's maximum luminance, screen bleeding is normal. Don't crank the brightness up to 100% and expect to see no backlight bleeding when looking at a black background in a dark room.
