At idle laptop is around 50°c but while playing cs2 it reaches 90-100°c and also there is a issue of game crashing mid game

The temperature have gone up since i updated my intel arc graphics driver from Intel's official website. Before it used to be around 80-85°c but the game still crashes mid game

Can you provide and solutions how to manage temperature and avoid crashing

This laptop should handle games like cs2 in my opinion

The specified Intel Max Operating Temperature for the cpu's that are used in the Swift SFG14-73 is 110°C which is the maximum operating temperature allowed as reported by temperature sensors. Instantaneous temperature may exceed this value for short durations. Note: Maximum observable temperature is configurable by system vendor and can be design specific.

I suggest that you use a tablet cooler also to improve crossflow ventilation if you are playing games while the laptop is on a desk, as that reduces temps also. Make sure that you are running the last Win-11 24H2 version and have all the windows updates and the latest bios v1.14 installed. As that is the most important with these laptops, I'm using the Swift X SFX14-51G/RTX3050Ti 4GB GDDR6 gpu/16GB LPDDR5 ram and that goes wild when playing high end games also and does overheat momentarily as its normal, but afterwards it behaves normally, you need to expect this behaviors and put up with this. Good luck.

Overheating can be caused by poor ventilation, dust buildup, or failing cooling fans. Prevention: Ensure that your computer is well-ventilated, regularly clean the dust from your components, and check that all cooling fans are functioning correctly. To help reduce the temperature, you can place the Laptop on a hard, flat surface, clean the air vents and fans, adjust power settings, use a cooling pad, or turn off the Laptop when not in use. If necessary, monitoring the temperature and consulting a professional is also recommended.
