Good evening,
I have always had a problem with my laptop Acer Predator Helios 300 (PH317-53).
When I unplug the laptop from the power and turn it on the device starts normally. If I try to attach a device to one of the USBs the pc gives no signs of life.
I have performed the following tests:

  • Connecting only HDMI and power. The pc turns on
  • Connecting USB HUB complete with mouse and keyboard to the left USB (3.0). The pc does NOT turn on.
  • Connecting only mouse to left usb and power supply. The pc turns on.
  • Connecting USB HUB with all peripherals connected (mouse and keyboard). The pc turns on.
  • Connected full USB HUB and power supply. The pc does NOT turn on.
  • Connected all peripherals without power. The pc turns on.
  • Connected power to pc on with all peripherals connected and rebooted. The pc turns on.
I also noticed that with the power cord plugged in, the voltage is discharged to the metal case. I felt a tingling sound typical of the voltage discharge on the front metal part of the pc.

Has this happened to you as well?
Could you please help me?

Thank you very much in advance.
