Keyboard Backlights fixed but Predator Sense is completely busted

For several months I had issues with my keyboard backlights not coming on at startup. I finally managed to get that fixed a few weeks ago (after months of trying random things on various sites) and yesterday Predator Sense completely stopped working outside of opening the app itself. No system info, fan speeds, profiles etc. Ran the uninstaller and tried to reinstall and now it says "A newer version of PredatorSense Config is already installed". I'm at my wits end and about to swear off all Acer products and never touch them again. Can anyone help?

Ooooookay! I just accidentally solved the problem. I noticed there was a slightly newer version of Acer Care Center on the website vs what was installed. Uninstalled the old one and installed the current version and at the moment everything is working fine. Only time will tell if it stays fine or not.

Update: Managed to get it to reinstall, but everything is still broken in the app.

What computer do you have? Your full model number is usually on the same sticker as your serial number, it should look something like xxxxx-xxx-xxxx. Which version of the BIOS is installed? Which OS do you have installed? What version of Predator Sense are you trying to install? All of those make a difference…

Everything has been updated via Acer Care. Windows is up to date. I installed the most current version of Predator sense is 5.0.1463. I've also tried some older versions that didn't auto update upon being ran with no luck. I've been through all of this before and it temporarily fixed the issue, but only for about a week.

I'm considering just starting at square one with a reinstall of Windows.
