I have purchased a Acer swift 3 model SF314-511/SF314-43 from jarir store but after 5 months it's not working and not opening it's power supply not open so I take it to repair from local shop in my country because there was not official Acer service centre in my country. The problem that technician told me was that motherboard of my laptop is damaged so if I want to claim warranty it .Is it possible or not.If not so what can I do Is there any other solution So Plz guide me.

To claim warranty on your Acer Swift 3, you must contact Acer support directly. However, repairs by unauthorized technicians may void your warranty, especially if they altered the laptop. If the motherboard damage is not due to misuse like trying to overclock, physically damage, etc, it may still be covered. Check your warranty terms for specifics on claims and repairs. If denied, consider local consumer protection laws or escalate the issue through Acer's customer service channels for further assistance.

Additionally, While it seem clear that the issue should be covered under warranty, companies often have specific terms and conditions that outline what is and isn’t covered. Here are a few reasons to check:

    1. Specific Conditions: Warranties can have particular stipulations regarding what constitutes damage or misuse.
    2. Proof of Purchase: You may need to provide proof of purchase or other documentation to support your claim.
    3. Repair History: If unauthorized repairs were made, this could complicate the warranty claim, even if the damage itself is covered.
    4. Manufacturer Policies: Each manufacturer has its own policies regarding warranty claims, and understanding these can help you navigate the process more effectively.

Checking the warranty terms ensures you have all the necessary information to make a strong case for your claim. It helps clarify your rights and responsibilities under the warranty agreement. I have already provided link to contact Acer and they can guide you on this topic too.

Warranty terms are different for each country. You really do have to contact Acer to find out what they are for you.
