What is the exact model of your Aspire 7 should be something like A715-xx etc., the Aspire 7 is designed to operate at higher temps monetarily and its fans rpm rising to accommodate and dissipate the appropriate heat. Its vents design at the top near the screen is how the laptop is designed and it will not damage the screen, so don't worry, as there are many Acer laptops with this design also and Acer would not design a laptop like that if it causes damage .

With the heat issue, make sure that you have the latest Win-11 24H2 version update installed, all windows updates and latest bios and firmware installed for your laptop as doing all this will make your Aspire 7 perform to its peak performance and at the appropriate designed temps. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

    •  Dust buildup in the vents and fans can block airflow, making the fan work harder to cool your system.
    •  Old drivers, especially for the BIOS and chipset, can cause overheating and increased fan speeds.
    •  Background applications or processes might be using more resources than necessary, causing the fan  to run faster.
    •  Over time, thermal paste can dry out and become less effective, leading to higher temperatures and  increased fan activity.
    •  If your power plan is set to "High Performance," the CPU might be running at higher speeds and  generating more heat.

In many overheating cases, the laptop's usage environment impacts its temperatures. Using a good laptop  cooler can enhance airflow and keep temperatures down. Modifying the case by adding extra vents or  replacing existing vents with plastic mesh can further increase airflow. Even if the fan is clean, check and  repaste the CPU and GPU with highquality thermal paste, like Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut, which offers  excellent thermal conductivity but should be used with copperbased heatsinks and not aluminum. I  recommend that you use the Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut Thermal Paste, which is a newage liquid metal  thermal paste that has an exceptionally high thermal conductivity.
