Faulty power key, can't turn on the laptop. what are the alternatives? (Acer aspire A315 55)

I currently own a acer aspire A315 55. Apparently, I can't turn it own using the power key, my best guess is faulty power key on keyboard. Is there any alternative way to power on the laptop. For time being before I order a new replacement. Also is it possible for me to upgrade my non back lit keyboard to back lit keyboard during the process. If so which model keyboard, should I order for the replacement.

Hi, it could be the battery after 5 years, if never replaced do that first and try to reset the battery by inserting a pin in the small pinhole at the back of the laptop with a small battery sign. Disconnect the power adapter and press the pin down till you feel a click and hold the pin down for 5-8 seconds. If still no boot, get a new battery: Acer a 315 55g Battery for sale | eBay The Acer Aspire 3 A315-55G does not come with a backlit keyboard. This feature is typically found in higher-end models or specific configurations within the Aspire series. I checked the web; backlit keyboards don't exist.

If you plug the charger in and there is a charging indicator, the power button might be faulty. Or else, there is something wrong with the motherboard.
