I updated my Nitro ANV16-41 software and since then I have not been able to use both the Nitrosense and Acer Quickpanel.

I uninstalled the Nitrosense and tried to install it again, but the process has not gone beyond 40% in 1 hour.

Acer Quickpanel says the process cannot be completed either

.

What can I do, please?

  • To resolve issues with NitroSense and Acer Quickpanel after your software update, follow these steps:

    1. Uninstall NitroSense/Acer quickpanel: Use Revo Uninstaller for a thorough removal.
    2. Install Visual C++ Redistributables: Download and install Visual C++ Studio 2015-2019 (x64 and x84 both version) from Microsoft.
    3. Download NitroSense/AcAcer quick access: Go to Acer's support site and download the latest version for your model.
    4. Extract and Install: Unzip the downloaded file, run Setup.exe, and follow the prompts.
    5. Rebuild Performance Counters: Open Command Prompt as Administrator and run below commands one by one:

    cd C:\Windows\System32.\lodctr.exe /R

    cd C:\Windows\SysWow64.\lodctr.exe /R

    6. After completing these steps, restart your computer and check if NitroSense and Quickpanel function correctly.

Thank you for the response. I've been able to carry out step 1. However, I am having difficulty with step 2. What exactly is the name of the file I am downloading? Searching for Visual C++ Studio 2015, Visual C++ Studio 2019, or even Visual C++ Studio 2015-2019 brings up the same result. What application am I installing? I am not a programmer. Please come to a layman's level. Thanks
