Hi, did you find any fix for this. I also had the same issue and tried the fix in the previous thread but with no luck. Laptop is working perfectly fine but power indicator is off.

The Nitro AN515-57 power indicator staying on after waking from sleep mode could indicate a few issues. It could be a software glitch, a driver problem, or even a power management setting. To troubleshoot, try waking the laptop by pressing the sleep button, a key on the keyboard, moving the mouse, or briefly pressing the power button.

If these methods don't work, explore updating drivers, especially for graphics and chipset, and check power settings, including USB selective suspend.

    Here's a more detailed breakdown:
    1. Basic Troubleshooting:
    Waking Methods:
Try different methods to wake the computer from sleep, as mentioned above. If Bluetooth devices are being used, the keyboard might not be able to wake the system.
    Driver Updates:
Check for updates for your graphics and chipset drivers, as these can sometimes cause issues with sleep mode.
    2. Power Settings:
    Advanced Power Options:
In Power Options, navigate to "Change plan settings" and then "Change advanced power settings." Look for settings related to USB, specifically "USB selective suspend," and consider disabling it to see if that resolves the issue.
    System Cooling Policy:
If you are using a ThinkPad, you can check your power settings to ensure that the "System cooling policy" is set to "Passive" when on battery power, as this can help with fan issues during sleep.
    3. Further Actions (if basic steps fail):
    Check for Background Processes:
It's possible that some background processes are still running during sleep mode, causing the CPU to heat up and the fan to kick in. This can sometimes affect the power indicator.
    4. Check Power Brick:
If the blinking blue light is also present, it might indicate a power brick issue. You can test the leads with an AVO meter to see if there are any problems.
    Hard Reset:
If the laptop won't turn on, you can try a hard reset by holding down the power button for 30 seconds, disconnecting the charger and battery, pressing the power button for another 30 seconds, and then plugging in the charger.
