Hello, during gaming my laptop will discharge even if plugged in

Your laptop battery may drain when plugged in due to a faulty charger, software issues, damaged charging port, battery health, or power settings. Try troubleshooting with a different charger and adjusting power settings.

If the problem persist, it’s is recommended to have the laptop inspected by a technician.
Laptop batteries are made out of a lithium substance that, over time, will crystalize. The substance is what can be charged and delivers power - any crystalized substance won’t hold a charge anymore and can’t be ‘reconditioned’ without being recycled. Due to the slow crystallization process that affects batteries, the older your battery is, the less charge it will hold. Eventually, your battery won’t keep your laptop powered for more than 1 second without power, even if it shows 100% charged. If your battery is 3–5 years old or older, this is to be expected.

If your laptop is new (within a year or two) and it’s not holding a charge at all, there is probably something wrong with the battery.

Since the issue only presents itself when the laptop is set to turbo mode and I'm gaming, I think it's just that the 135W charger does not deliver enough power to the PC, which in turn needs to use the battery
Battery dropped by 25% during a session today… I set the performance profile and it started to charge again back up.

135W does not sound like it's enough for the laptop. This is the charger that came with the PC though, not some off brand.
