Need help as Red line appears on my Aspire a315 - 24p laptop display after Accidental Drop

The laptop was given to me as a gift about a year ago, and I've only dropped it once by accident. I've noticed that a red line is visible on the top left border/corner of the display, and it's more prominent if the screen is displaying black, such as my wallpaper in the image shown above. I'm suspecting that it's a hardware problem with the lcd, but I'd like to get a second opinion from preferably people with knowledge about laptops.

Hi, that is backlight bleed, reduce the screen brightness until backlight bleeding is unnoticeable. Although it could be a pinched EDP/LCD cable or loose plug, you probably have to replace the panel at an estimated cost of $100 including labor: Screen for Acer ASPIRE 3 A315-24P SERIES. Hello, thank you for answering. I also have an issue with one or both of the usb ports being loose over time. I have to wiggle my mouse around for a bit for it to actually work. How much is the repair cost for both the screen and the usb ports in PHP? I live in the Philippines and repair costs/prices vary here. Thanks!
