    Storage Configuration

    1. M.2 Slots

    • Two M.2 2280 Slots:
      • Slot 1: PCIe Gen 3 x4
        • Maximum Capacity: Up to 2TB
        • Interface: NVMe (faster speeds)
      • Slot 2: PCIe Gen 3 x2
        • Maximum Capacity: Up to 2TB
        • Interface: NVMe (slightly slower than x4, but still fast)

    2. SATA Slot

    • One SATA/HDD SSD Slot [2.5inch]:
      • Maximum Capacity: Up to 2TB
      • Interface: SATA (generally slower than NVMe)

    Total Maximum Supported Storage

    • If fully equipped, the laptop can support a total of up to 6TB:
      • 2TB in M.2 Slot 1 (PCIe Gen 3 x4)
      • 2TB in M.2 Slot 2 (PCIe Gen 3 x2)
      • 2TB in SATA slot [2.5 inch]

    Compatibility Considerations

    • Acer officially tests SSDs up to 1TB, and while 2TB SSDs may work, compatibility can vary for sizes exceeding this limit. It's advisable to test higher capacities, as some larger SSDs might not be recognized.

Suggested Approach for Higher Capacity SSDs

If you plan to purchase a higher capacity SSD (like a 2TB or more), consider making a deal with the seller that allows for a replacement if the SSD does not work in your laptop. You can negotiate to receive a lower-capacity SSD (such as a 1TB) in exchange if the larger one is incompatible. This arrangement is often feasible at hardware shops and can provide peace of mind when upgrading.
