"Hello, I purchased an Acer Predator Helios Neo 16, and after just five months of general use, some keys on the keyboard have stopped working. While the seller has offered to replace the keyboard under warranty, I'm concerned about the long-term reliability of this product. Given that I've only used the laptop for a short period, how can I trust the durability of this model for future use? Could you please explain how Acer ensures the quality and longevity of its products, and what steps are taken to prevent similar issues from occurring again?"

What a surprise, I have the issue as well. One letter and several numbers on the numerical pad do not work. Sadly use an eternal keyboard to save the soft touch so it was not until I was out of town a few months later I found they were bad. Msi lts all die from heat killing mboard and keyboards as well. I was hoping this one was different but apparently the quality reviews about great builds are pretty much bogus.

If the keyboard on your Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 isn't working, start by checking for driver issues or accidentally enabled filter keys. If those don't work, try a hard restart or updating PredatorSense software and Visual C++ libraries. If all else fails, consider a physical inspection or replacement by a technician.
Here's a more detailed breakdown of troubleshooting steps:-

    1. Check for basic issues:
    Filter Keys:
Make sure Filter Keys is disabled. Hold down the Shift key for about 8 seconds to see if it unlocks the keyboard (you should hear a beep).
    On-Screen Keyboard:
If the physical keyboard is unresponsive, enable the On-Screen Keyboard (OSK) in Settings > Accessibility > Keyboard to navigate and type.
    2. Driver Issues:
    Update/Uninstall Drivers:
Open Device Manager, find the keyboard driver (usually under "Keyboards"), and try updating it. If that doesn't work, uninstall the driver and restart the computer to let Windows reinstall it.

    Dism Fix:
Use the DISM tool (Deployment Image Servicing and Management) to repair the system image. This can sometimes resolve driver-related problems.
    3. PredatorSense Software:
    Update/Reinstall:
Ensure PredatorSense software is up to date. You can find updates on the Acer support website or through the Microsoft Store.
    Reinstall:
If updating doesn't help, try uninstalling and reinstalling PredatorSense, potentially using a version from a trusted source like Techpowerup.
    4. Visual C++ Libraries:
Update/Reinstall: Outdated or corrupted Visual C++ libraries can sometimes cause issues with keyboard functionality. Try updating or reinstalling them.
