Bad XV340CK monitor? Have 2 parallel lines that seem to run across my screen usually a blue color

I have 2 parallel lines that seem to run across my screen that are usually a blue color. It is not as noticeable when the screen is displaying white, but shows up when video is playing or screen background color is darker. This is on the HDMI ports (both of them) and the Display Ports are not registering a signal. They did for a short while but then would intermittently go out. Now they don't seem to detect on either DP. I have tested the cable with other computers (I have a lab) and tried other DP cables on this display. My best guess is an issue with the board on the monitor. Any other thoughts that might help?

Yes it does sound like you have an issue. You can maybe verify by disconnecting the video and turning the monitor on, do the lines appear during the splash screen or in the OSD menu? If so you know it can't be a problem with the video source or the cabling…
