I've just returned from a couple of months away and upon firing up the laptop and doing the recommended updates I seem to have lost sound from the internal speakers. Bluetooth speakers still work fine. I keep getting on the System-Sound page of settings "No Output Devices Found". I ran Troubleshooting and it wasn't able to help because no audio devices were found. I've looked through a bunch of questions and answers on this forum but because I'm not particularly "techie" I'm a bit worried about following some of the advice. For example, someone suggested restoring the laptop to an old date when I knew the sound was working. If I do that, does that mean everything on the laptop restores to the old date? (E.g. I've downloaded a heap of holiday photos since my return).
I checked Device Manager and under "sound, video and game controllers" I only have connected bluetooth devices listed and they all work.
Is there something else I should be doing/checking?
My Swift 3 runs Windows 110 Home, OS build 22631.4249
