Acer doesn't have specs on that old laptop online that I have been able to find. Some searching does say that it uses PC2-5300 DDR2-667 200pin SDRAM SODIMM memory, to a maximum of 2GB, supporting 512MG, 1GB and 2GB modules. Since it came with Windows XP originally it's unlikely to be upgradeable to something like Windows 10, and drivers will be very tough to find.

Does Acer still have BIOS files for this device? I've recently revived an old eMachines 350-21G16i netbook by upgrading the hardrive to a 1TB SSD and have a 2GB RAM chip in the mail. I've installed Bodhi Linux and use it primarily for code editing and simple web browsing. I'm writing this post using the Chromium browser that comes pre-installed.

Have searched on the Acer Legacy area but not found any BIOS or other drivers yet.

Nothing listed officially here > https://www.acer.com/us-en/support/product-support/eM350/downloads

I've found the 1.10 BIOS here but haven't applied it yet. https://www.helpdrivers.com/notebooks/eMachines/350/

No, Acer typically removes all support files, such as drivers and BIOS images, at some point after the OS that ships with them goes fully out of support. So, when support for Windows XP went away, so did the support files. That would likely have been in the early 'teens, so 10-15 years ago.
