Hello,

I have a brand new PHN18-71-72L2 Predator Helios Neo 18 and would like to replace the internal SSD with a larger one and upgrade the memory (RAM).

How do I open the device? According to Laptopmedia.com, you should only remove the 13 screws and then carefully lift the cover on the back and then open it further!

But the cover on the back cannot be lifted, is it glued?

I would be very grateful for quick help!

Regards

Hi, the back cover is secured with little plastic clips that take a bit of force with a strong flat plastic probe or guitar plectrum, the cover is not glued. You may break a few of these clips but not to worry as there are many of them and the cover fits perfectly even with a few missing. Note don't tighten the screws too much afterwards as the little brass thread inserts at the bottom break loose easily rendering the screw unusable.

    Hello,
sorry, but nothing is moving, I'm afraid I'll destroy something.
Where exactly should I start to open the cover?
If I try it like in picture 2 from Jack22, nothing happens!
