SWIFT GO SFG16-72T: External monitor not working via USB4/Thunderbolt ports

Hello,

I have a SFG16-72T. In theory, the USB-C ports are both USB4/Thunderbolt and thus should be able to both power and output to an external monitor via USB-C. But while my Caldigit TB4 doc does allow me to successfully use external monitors and I can also use an external monitor by plugging it into the HDMI port. But I cannot use USB monitors that when I try to directly connect them to the system via the Thunderbolt ports. The monitors are getting power, but the system does not detect the monitors or output video signals to them.

I've confirmed it's not the cable or the monitors; I've tried multiple cables and multiple external USB-C monitors that work fine on other systems. It's only on this system that the monitors don't work.

When I travel, I need to be able to connect the laptop directly to an external monitor using just a thunderbolt cable, so would like to have this addressed. Let me know if you have suggestions. Thanks!
