Acer Chromebook 314 C933 Replacement Batteries

I manage Chromebooks at a school, we have 700 C933's. Many batteries failed by staying at 1% and not charging, and these were consistently replaced under warranty. Now that we are out of warranty, I still need to keep replacing these batteries. I ordered 10 generic batteries from an Amazon seller, and while they work as a battery, the Chromebook does not detect them. The screen does not brighten up when plugged in, cannot come back out of sleep without plugging, and there is no battery symbol. Does anyone know if I bought lemons or if this is the expected behavior from generic batteries, and where I might be able to buy OEM batteries? I'm currently pulling batteries out of spares, I'm down to half of the 20 I have left. The battery model is AP18C8K.

Here are the Acer part numbers for C933 batteries (right column):

I would suggest you buy a few units and check if that solved the issue.

You can purchase the batteries from these Acer parts partners:

I got another shipment of batteries from Amazon from a different vendor with a goofy name, and those work fine. I look closely, and there is a tiny black sticker covering up the Acer logo! Thanks for your response, I'll try contacting the authorized resellers, one of them has a neglected website and the other lists exhorbitant prices, so I'll try them if I'm unable to get anything decent. Acer should just sell these direct to consumers, they would put the generic and "snuck out the factory" competition out of business in an instant.
