I bought an Acer Swift Go 14 OLED with an i5 13th Gen processor two days ago my model number is SFG14-71-58UB . However, whenever I plug in the charger, the laptop gets extremely hot, especially around the upper bottom area, making it difficult for me to use the keyboard due to the heat. The charger is from Chincony. Please provide a quick solution.

Make sure the battery is 100% charged, the 100-W USB-C charger may have issues charging an almost depleted battery and fast charging generates a lot of heat. Change the Power mode to Balanced in Power & Battery settings and increase the Fan speed with Acer Quick Access/AcerSense. Check Task Manager Performance tabs what your available memory is and what % the CPU and GPU are running at, if that is high you will have to uninstall all pre-installed programs and bloatware, 3rd-party browsers, antivirus checkers, trial versions, etc. as your RAM cannot be upgraded.

The heat is pretty much localized to where the fan blows over the heat exchanger and fluctuates in concert with the CPU temperature. Try running a utility to see where your CPU temperature is running. Typical temps might be in the 40s when idle and raising to the 80s when under load, and close to 100 when heavily gaming. When the charge circuit is active it also adds heat to the system, hence the higher numbers there.

The laptop is heating up because most probably the its running on at its full speed with no power saving turned on when plugged. Its also charging the batteries which can also cause the laptop to heat up. Just make sure to check the vents of your laptop if there's hot air coming out.
It is quite normal for the laptop to heat up, since the internal electronic components may generate heat while the laptop runs, especially during power-intensive operations such as charging, updating, gaming, etc. If you have an air-conditioned room, preferably use the laptop in there. If the room is not air conditioned, make use of a ceiling or table fan along with a laptop cooling pad. Laptop cooling pads have fans in them which help flow cool air keeping your laptop cool all time.
