This issue can be caused by a faulty GPU or a loose display cable. It’s likely that a loose display cable is the cause. Please visit the nearest Acer service center for diagnosis and repair. The cost of repairing the display cable shouldn’t be that high.

It is rare but in case iif it is a GPU fault, it may not be cost-effective to repair it, and purchasing a new laptop might be the better option.

Thank you for replying. How to know if my gpu is faulty? i run a test before never had any problem or overheating. Everything is up to date. My gpu and cpu running at normal temp even when gaming never goes above 90. Never experience any weird glitches or crashes. This is so sudden. Also when it glitch bottom half of my screen freezes and it only works on a white background. Any dark color will make the bottom half frozen. One more thing i notice sometimes it goes away and everything back to normal like it never happens.

To determine if your GPU is faulty, consider the following signs:

    • Screen Artifacts: The freezing and glitching, especially on dark backgrounds, suggests potential GPU failure. This can happen even if temperatures are normal.
    • Intermittent Issues: If the glitches disappear temporarily, it could suggest overheating or a loose connection.

It's difficult to determine the issue without a thorough examination. Ultimately, you may need to visit an Acer service center for diagnosis and repair. Before proceeding, inquire about the repair costs and whether the problem lies with the GPU or the display cable.
