What can I do to get jpg images to put upon my notepad text? Is there a need for me to convert these

I so rarely need to perform such functions that whenever such a task comes up I end up quite lost.

I have some .jpg photo images on a usb stick that I want to transfer to my Acer PC -and then onto a notepad document that also contains text.

I already have the notepad document on my desktop, -and I also did manage to drag & drop the .jpg images onto my desktop as well…

But when I try to drag & drop any of these .jpg photos onto the notepad document -the text of the notepad document turns into a cryptic mess of unintelligible symbols.

What can I do to get these .jpg images put upon my notepad text?

-Is there a need for me to convert these .jpg images into another format?

Hi, you can't paste or drag images in a Notepad document, this is a text only apps. You have Wordpad for that in Windows, try that, you can paste and drag any image file to a Wordpad *rtf file. ("%ProgramFiles%\Windows NT\Accessories\wordpad.exe") just type Wordpad in Search.
