I just bought my Aspire Lite 14 yesterday and came to a realization that the battery drains so much faster than it charges. Is there any way I can fix this? I have already customized the laptop as it is needed for my studies especially activating MS Office Apps.

To mitigate battery draining when the power adapter is not plugged in, use Best Power Efficiency Power Plan in Power and battery settings and turn on the Battery Saver.

A new battery should last 3-4 hours with this Plan, if you use Balanced or Best Performance plan with the battery Saver turned off you may get 2-3 hours. Keep the power adapter or USB-C charger plugged in 24.7 and the battery fully charged at all times.

Programs running at the background like MS 365, anti-virus checkers, browsers and pre-installed bloatware, freebees and 3rd-party programs consume a lot of power, check in Task Manager Processes-Background what is running, should not be more than 75, if several hundred you have to uninstall these in Windows Add or remove Programs.
