Aspire A315-51 Startup issues. I get the Acer logo and after about 5 seconds laptop shuts down

When trying to start up I get the Acer logo and after about 5 seconds laptop shuts down with a funny chirp then after about 8 seconds does the same again continually until I hold down the power button to stop this cycle. Removed battery, fitted new battery, held power button down for 1 minute while disconnected. Loaded default Bios but still the same. Any help would be appreciated.

    Access Advanced Startup Options in Windows 11 on your A315-51 by doing one of these steps:

    • Hold down SHIFT while restarting, or go to Settings > Update & Security > Recovery > Restart now.
    • If Windows does not start, boot from your Windows installation media or a recovery drive.
    • To boot directly into ASO, choose the boot option for System Recovery, Advanced Startup, Recovery, etc.

    Afterwards do a “Startup Repair” (also see that link for startup fixes) and see if that fixes the problems of Windows not loading on your laptop. If all the guide steps don't fix this windows OS loading issues, I suggest that you do a clean install of Win-11 version 23H2 again. Good luck

    @Jimbosin
    Try to unplug the SSD/HDD. Does it start differently?

    Hi All

    Thanks for the advice. Managed to reload Windows from usb but during the updates it started and got to the Acer logo, beeped once and repeated. I bit the bullet and replaced the SSD, reloaded Windows and so far its been working fine. Replacement SSD was a lot cheaper than expected and installation was straight forward.
