As Said above… the laptop is blowing cool air and isn't Hot so I am confused for some bginfo

I have an acer nitro 5 AN515-58

I replaced the thermal paste with thermal pads I say I did a pretty good job (with 4 strips of wasted pads in the garbage bag next to me), and after putting mostly everything back together I open acer sense for it to show that my cpu was at 89 C and spikes to 92 C while in idle so I physically check the temps and there is no hot spots at most its slightly colder than luke warm did some low stress test and it barely got warm as I would expect would happen.

I also reinstalled acersense due to a windows update that prevented me from opening it up before

So my question is should I be worried? I will bring it to a repair shop once I get paid but thats not till friday

What is the thermal pad name that you have replaced?

Did you use a thermal pad between the CPU cores and the heatsink? Use Honeywell PTM 7950. It sounds like whatever you are using is not allowing heat to be transferred to the heatsink. The heat is building up in the cores which is why you are seeing high core temperatures.

I put thermal pads on everything that had it before, everything is cool but it seems that the thermal pad doesn't allow whatever the acersense uses to read thermals to read it properly I switched thermal paste like 15-20 minutes ago and now acersense is showing what I am feeling 38-40 c cpu 40-50 c gpu
