Have seen similar mentions of this issue, but I have an acer predator helios 300 PH317-55-743T. And I've noticed that the "system" temps are very high, especially when the ethernet cable is plugged in.

To my knowledge, the system temps correspond to a chip not attached to the heatsink, which makes sense because turning my fans to max have no affect on the temperature.

I just replaced my thermal paste and putty and my cpu and gpu are both around 70 under load, so a healthy temp, but the system temps are always around 80 - 90, sometimes even more.

I've seen others mention modifying the heatsink, but I'm wondering if there is anything else I can do to improve the temps, again, not asking about the cpu / gpu temps, just system temps.
