Hi,

I want to upgrade the SSD of my predator helios 300 PH315-54-7921 laptop, but I cant find its specifics. If I read right in the community, I have 2 slots. But I cant find how much the 2 slots can hold, 1TB, 2TB, or more? And I dont know the compatible SSDs dimensions.

Thanks for the help.

These are the specs of your Predator PH315-54 laptop it has 2x M.2 SSD drive slots and 1x 2.5" SATA 3 drive space as the M.2 slots are different and it depends on the GPU that your laptop has like its shown below. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

Acer fits 1TB M.2 SSD drives to this laptop oem, but you can fit 2TB and 4TB M.2 drives of the appropriate specs shown below for each model of this laptop, also, with capacities it depends on the drive format in the windows operating systems as the larger 4TB M.2 drives for a GUID (GPT) format is acceptable but in MBR/Legacy the format limits the drive to a max of 2.2TB, so be aware of these rules.

The RTX3050 GPU models have these M.2 SSD interface speeds, the boot M.2 slot is an interface speed Gen 4 x4 and the slave M.2 slot has a max interface speed of a Gen 3 x2 M.2 or can also be fitted with a SATA M.2 drive.

The RTX3060 and the RTX3070 have both boot M.2 slot and slave M.2 slot at Gen 4 x4 interface speed
