Hi, got an ACER Aspire E-15 E5-573 (2016) .
Started to draining original battery, first slow and in March 2022 got a new battery.
This year in May somehow it started to drain faster and faster and didn´t charge,
and August it was on ZERO- NULL.
New battery -(also AL15A32) and this starts draining from 100% to 95% on few days. Then it starts Charging.
I did the callibration. When I unplug the laptop, the right indicator goes off. And when it charges the battery it´s amber. The Power indicator on the front is to the Right of the Battery indicater - NOT as in the manual What is wrong ??

    Hi @KATALIN
This is what the LEDs indicate:

I hope you are still on Windows10 as your 5th Gen CPU won't support Windows11. To me this indicates that you are not completely shut down or you are using Acer Care Center Battery Charge limiter 80%, if so, first uninstall Acer Care Center in Windows Uninstall programs and then disable Hibernate and Fast Startup in "Change what closing the lid does" and "Change settings currently unavailable". You also have a small 2200mAh / 37Wh battery, get the larger 2800mAh / 41.4Wh model from eBay: New Genuine Battery for Acer Aspire E15 E5-573G E5-774G TMP249 N16Q1/2 E5-772G | eBay that should last 3 years. Keep in mind that there are refurbished cheap Chinese batteries and high quality Acer endorsed batteries (Samsung is a good brand) that make all the difference, but you have to accept that a 37Wh will only last 500 full charge cycles or 2, maximum 3 years. 😉

Hi Katalin, Sanyo (Japanese) is one of the oldest brands, made good batteries too, tip to print your battery report (powercfg /batteryreport) to PDF, open the report with Windows Edge browser and right click on the report, in the context menu select "Print to Microsoft PDF". Check the colored drainage profiles of the last 3 days, these should be almost vertical and see if connected Standby is supported (your list shows "Suspened" so I think you're OK).

Check also BIOS MAIN screen if all 3 Wake USB options are disabled, you may have to press Ctrl+S to see the advanced (hidden) options.

Hope you get it all sorted out 😉
