Acer Predator Helios 300 laptop turns off randomly during gaming, battery issue could be the reason

I have an Acer Predator Helios 300. I've tried replacing the battery inside the laptop and using a new charging cable, but both didn't work so I returned them. The main reason why I want this fixed is because I think this issue is affecting gaming. My laptop turns off randomly during gaming and I think the battery issue could be a reason.

What full model do you have like PH315-53-70QE, which is a 2020 model and if still the original 230W power brick you should consider replacing it. You wrote that you replaced the (DC?) charging cable, power adapters have fixed DC cables, but you can fit a universal adapter plug and that may be the problem. If you meant the AC cable that is OK. Check if you see any burn marks on the DC port and inside the socket, when you fully insert the DC plug in the port do you hear a click? When trying to charge wiggle the plug a bit and see if the LEDs on the laptop react.

Clean the dust, check your cooling system and your thermal paste. These steps will lower the temperature and prevent your computer from overheating again. Note: If you're using a laptop, we don't suggest opening the computer as mentioned above.
