    Don't "force" a system abort with the power button as that will corrupt a system file(s) that will be replaced/refreshed at reboot but sometimes fails. Hanging/freezing or apps that don't respond properly in Window10-11 are best handled with Alt + F4 or Ctrl + Alt + Del and click on the power icon at the right bottom, Ctrl + Shift + Esc is another way to get to the power icon but sometimes doesn't work. To find the driver/app causing the hanging, boot to safe mode (Shift+ Restart) and if you have no issues shutting down it is the display driver that needs to be uninstalled in Safe mode with DDU, just reboot afterwards and Windows will reinstall the proper drivers.
