    Try these-

    1. Power Settings: Adjust your power settings to maximize performance. Go to Control Panel > Power Options > Change Plan Settings (it should be on left or right side of your selected power plan) > Change Advanced Power Settings > Wireless Adapter Settings, and set it to Maximum Performance on both battery and plugged in.
    2. Driver Updates: Ensure your Wi-Fi drivers are up to date. dateif possible check wifi manufacturer site for driver update.

    Registry tweak network throttling

    1. To disable network throttling on your Windows PC using the registry, follow these steps carefully:
    2. Backup Your Registry: Before making any changes, back up your registry to prevent potential issues. Open the Run dialog (Windows + R), type regedit, and press Enter. In the Registry Editor, click on File > Export to save a backup.
    3. Open Registry Editor: Press Windows + R, type regedit, and hit Enter.
    4. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Multimedia\SystemProfile
    5. Modify NetworkThrottlingIndex:
      • In the right pane, look for the NetworkThrottlingIndex entry. If it doesn't exist, right-click in the pane, select New > DWORD (32-bit) Value, and name it NetworkThrottlingIndex.
      • Double-click on NetworkThrottlingIndex and set its Value Data to ffffffff (this disables throttling) and click OK.
    6. Adjust System Responsiveness (Optional):
      • In the same location, you can also create or modify the SystemResponsiveness DWORD value. Set its Value Data to 00000000 for maximum performance.
    7. Restart Your Computer: For the changes to take effect, restart your PC.
    8. These tweaks can help improve your network performance by disabling throttling, allowing for better bandwidth utilization.
    9. Restart your Laptop.

(These instructions should also available on youtube, just search to disable network throttling)

A slow internet connection may be due to a variety of reasons. It could be your inefficient router, internet service provider (ISP) bandwidth throttling, outdated devices, or even malware. While speeding up your internet connection on your computer is not always easy, there are ways to optimize it.
