First update your BIOS as there may be a later version available with a patch for battery charging issues. Uninstall Acer Care Center and AcerSense in Windows Add or remove programs. Check your background programs that are constantly running in Task Manager-Processes, the background processes should not exceed 75, uninstall bloatware and 3rd-party browsers and antivirus programs. Disable Hibernate and Fast Startup in "Power Plan" or "Change what closing the lid does" Finally reset BIOS if not upgraded with F9 in BIOS and save changes on exit BIOS, reboot to Windows and uninstall these 2 battery drivers (red circles picture below), just reboot.

  • Hello! In the Acer Care Center program, is there an option to block battery charging? What is the exact model? Example: an515-55-5890.

Unplug the adapter of your Aspire Lite 15 and let the laptop drain to where the "Windows OS warns you of low battery power" then plug the adapter back into its DC_IN port and charge the laptop fuly as it should charge to 100%, its a simple fix. Good luck.
