2. I've noticed that the trackpad becomes slow or less responsive while the laptop is charging. Could you please help me understand why this might be happening and suggest any solutions to fix this issue?

Hi, uninstall Acer Care Center and don't use battery calibration, battery optimization and limit battery charging to 80% bloatware, check this forum on this topic and the detrimental effects these programs can have on your battery and system. Keep the adapter or charger plugged in 24/7 so that your battery is always fully charged to 100% and you won't have trackpad latency issues. Contact Acer Support in your country for extended warranty you may have to contact the retailer for this type of insurance.

Services like extended warranties and accidental damage protection are typically offered by the vendor, though in some locales they are also offered by Acer. You will need to contact your vendor to get those answers, since anyone here would only be able to answer with their own experience in their own country. No need to remove Acer Care Center, it works well and doesn't slow your system down very much. Battery calibration and the 80% limit are different functions. Don't both with an 80% limit if it's offered by ACC, though most of the newer versions no longer offer that, and only do calibrations on maybe a yearly basis. It's typically just as easy to calibrate using Windows, it calibrates each time you run it down all the way then recharge it fully before turning it back on. Acer's calibration does close to the same thing, but doesn't require quite as much time. Trackpad latency is almost always due to something running in the background, and the supplied antivirus trial is often the culprit.
