Screen flickering with ghost image. Do I need to replace my monitor in Nitro laptop?

The screen is flickering and there is a kind of ghost image pops up which shows the bottom of the screen in the top of the screen. It's quite hard to describe so I was hoping to add a video. It's not easy to see in a photograph but it flashes between this distortion and a normal picture that flickers rapidly. But I am sure it will be obvious to anyone with the knowledge whether I need to replace the screen or if it is something else that needs fixed within the laptop. Thanks in advance for your advice.

I should have said, there is no problem with the image when on an external monitor.

Since you checked with an external monitor, it's probably an issue with the laptop display cable, which may have come loose. To confirm, boot into your laptop's BIOS and check if the problem persists there as well. If it does, you should send your laptop to an Acer service center for repair. Repairing a loose cable shouldn't cost much.
