The laptop features a 15.6-inch IPS LCD display with a refresh rate of 144Hz, but it is noted that the color gamut is limited, covering only about 45% of the NTSC spectrum. This limitation contributes to the poor color reproduction, making it unsuitable for professionals in creative fields who rely on accurate color representation. This is in many budget laptops .

Use External Monitors: If color accuracy is critical for your work, consider using an external monitor that offers better color reproduction for tasks like design and video editing.

Many users have reported similar issues with the Nitro V 15, where reds appear orangey and whites look yellow. This is often attributed to the display's limitations, which prioritize refresh rates over color accuracy, making it less suitable for tasks requiring precise color representation, such as design and media work.

Users have suggested calibrating the display through the Intel Graphics Command Center or Windows settings to improve color accuracy. However, results can vary significantly depending on the panel quality.

Previous Model Performance: Your experience with the first edition of the Nitro 5, which displayed colors accurately, highlights a potential regression in display quality with the newer Nitro V model. This inconsistency may stem from different panel manufacturers or specifications used in the newer model.

External Monitor Comparison: Since you mentioned that colors appear correctly on an external monitor, this suggests that the issue lies specifically with the laptop's built-in display. This is a common problem with budget gaming laptops that use lower-quality panels.

If color accuracy is critical for your work, you might consider looking into higher-end models or displays specifically designed for creative professionals.

Only reason why Acer didn't play attention to display will be Performance Over Display Quality
Targeting Gamers: Many users in the gaming community prioritize high frame rates and graphical fidelity. As a result, manufacturers may choose to allocate budget and resources to high-performance GPUs (like the RTX 4060) and CPUs (like the i9-13900H), sometimes at the expense of other components, such as the display.
Gaming Experience: A powerful GPU enhances gaming experiences through better graphics and smoother gameplay, which can overshadow the need for a high-quality display in the eyes of many consumers.

Many users share your frustration regarding the Acer Nitro V 15's display issues, particularly the inaccurate color representation where reds appear orange and whites look yellow. This problem is often attributed to the laptop's focus on high refresh rates at the expense of color accuracy, which is a common compromise in budget gaming laptops.
