Frayed wire cause screen banding. Can it be replaced?

Hello! I noticed this wire is fraying and causing some serious banding across my screen. It does work fine about 50 percent of the time, but when the banding kicks in it's unusable.

Laptop function is normal, everything is fine with a monitor plugged in, and the screen does turn on and fully work sometimes.

Looking for advice on if this wire is replaceable, and if so, what it's called!

Also, what the part is for these little screws that have come out.

Thanks!

  • To change those wire the screen bezel and the laptop bottom cover has to be opened. The left cream color wire is the eDP screen cable and the right white cable wire is one of the wireless LAN antenna wire, but to give you any advice and/or the correct Acer part numbers you need to tell us your Acer laptops model number so we can advise you further, but those wires are available as a spare part for your laptop. Good luck and hope this helps you out further to solve your problem.
