Hi, I've got new (2 months) Acer Nitro 16 AN16-41 with Ryzen 7 7735HS, 32 GB RAM and RTX 4070. During boot I've got following problems:

  1. Black screen when I'm booting notebook without charger (original) plugged - no response from keyboard, external keyboard touchpad or mouse - FIX: press and hold power button till shut down and then boot again.
  2. Deactivation of USB-C port which I'm using to connect USB hub with keyboard and pendrive connected - port is fully deactivated, doesn't recognize any devices, only fix is completely shut down notebook and then boot once again. Restarting from windows don't work.
  3. Acer Nitro Sense doesn't recognize connected charger - software doesn't change profiles, and doesn't show temperatures nor frequencies of GPU and CPU. This issues happens almost everytime. FIX: restarting notebook with charger already connected.
  4. Bluescreens during boot. This issue is probably connected with first issue listed in my post but I've checked minidump and I've got only 3 dumps and everyone is the same: "DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION (133)" This issue happens to me only 3 times during my ownership.

Only thing I've done so far: update bios and extending RAM to 32 GB (stock was 16, all of these things happened too)

I'm going to make clean install of Windows, not from recovery but I don't think it will help, in my opinion I've got a hardware issue, probably with motherboard.
Please, help me or at least tell me what to do to fix these issues by myself.

Hi, before you try the Clean Install of Windows make sure you backup your complete boot drive as you will lose your data. Did you try to restore the system to an earlier date when you did not have these power issues? Type Restore in Search and click on "Create a restore point" and then on "System Restore" with a date:

Thanks for your reply. I don’t care about data because I don’t have any important data on system drive, moreover I won’t use system restore utility because in my opinion this utility is useless and make more problems than solutions. I’m using Windows for about 23 years and this utility always was disaster.

Moreover, all of these problems described in first post happens when I plug charger before turning power on. Currently I’ve found that there is a major issue with graphic drivers, it causes bsod or laptop will restart with black screen and minidump is created in specific folder. If there is no bleuscreen Windows will boot, but without graphic drivers working (no 165 Hz refresh rate, low resolution also screen is called different). I don’t have any idea whats going on.
