I bought an Aspire A715-75g about 4 years ago. The battery has lost almost the entirety of its capacity (see picture for battery report). I want to replace the battery with a new one, but i noticed something strange.

The battery I have in my computer is an AP19B5L, and according to Source ITStore when entering my computer's serial number, the compatible battery is an AP18C. The battery in my computer (I opened the laptop to make sure) is not the same as the one compatible with it! It seems like the voltages and types of batteries (Li-Ion or Polymer) are different. So my question is: which one should i buy, the same battery I have had for 4 years, or the one that is supposed to be compatible with my laptop?

I have been wondering if the reason the capacity is so low might be because the battery is the wrong one?

Thanks for the help.
