Acer Swift X 14 SFX14-71G-72CH - Battery draining while laptop is shutdown

Hi.

I bought the Acer Swift X 14 SFX14-71G-72CH a week ago and the battery seems to be draining overnight while the laptop is completely shutdown. For the entire first week using the laptop, I shut it down at night at 100% but in the morning it had 99%. In the last few days, instead of 99%, it's starting at 97% and 96%, and I have no idea how to solve this since the laptop is brand new.

I already shut down the fast start and also the power USB in the Acer Quick Acess, but nothing seems to fix this. I've also done a battery calibration in Acer Care Center but the problem seems to persist.

Has anyone else had this issue? Like I said, I bought the laptop only a week ago and had this issue since the very first day. The last time I had a similar problem it was on an older laptop and I had to replace the battery, but that only happened 3 years after I bought it and with heavy use, and not while it was brand new, like the new Acer Swift X 14 I just bought.

Thank you.

EDIT: I just noticed that I have posted this in the wrong forum.

Hi, forget about that "battery calibration" thing and uninstall Acer Care Center in Windows Add or remove programs. Check in Windows Services that all services accSVC, Acer AgentSCV etc. are not running, stop these and disable the Startup type in Properties and click on Apply in Services.

Your laptop may not be completely shut down but in Modern Standby mode, also disable Hibernate with Fast Startup and reset the Advanced Power Plan settings to factory default. Check in BIOS that all Wake on USB options are disabled (see picture). Don't worry about 2-3% battery drainage overnight if that remains the same, if you see it drains more check the Network/Bluetooth adapters and all USB devices/controllers in Power Management Properties that the boxes "Allow the computer to turn off….. " are all checked.

I have the same laptop, batteries drain even when just stored, when wired inside the laptop it will drain a bit more, leave the power adapter or USB-C charger plugged in 24/7 to make sure the battery is always fully charged to 100%. Run on battery only (no heavy graphics/gaming) when there is no electrical power outlet available and unplug from the wall outlet if you don't plan to use the laptop for several days for safety.

Remember that the USB port on your left side is designed to allow charging a device even when the laptop is turned off:

If you have anything plugged in there using power, it will drain the battery pretty easily overnight. Use it for temporary charging, like for you phone, but don't leave anything plugged in long term unless the laptop is also plugged in.

This has nothing to do with Acer Care Center…
