Hi guys it a bit urgent.

I bought an acer nitro 7 laptop (Mode AN715-51-75WR)back in India a couple of years back and now I am in USA. Before coming here the laptop was working absolutely fine but now it is not switching on. When I connect my charger the charging light is on but when I try to switch it on using the power button it wont. I tried long pressing the power button but it does not do anything.

I am also not able to find the battery reset hole on my laptop.

Can anyone help me with it as it would cost me a lot to get it repaired here and my classes are about to start.

Hi Nitros and Predators don't have these reset pinholes in the back, it doesn't matter where you bought the laptop, just bring the laptop to Acer Services in your present country (recommended).

The Nitro AN715-51 battery can be reset like its described in the caption below, but what I suggest is to do a Hard Reset of your AN715-51 laptop as that is a more permanent fix than a battery reset,

To do a Hard Reset do the following, unscrew the eleven (11) screws of the back cover, pry the right edge side first to release the latches of the back cover and pry the back cover open, take the main battery out first, disconnect the bios battery and then short the bios batteries + & - pins at the mainboard plug and take the ram out, leave the laptop like that for at least 1 hour (preferably overnight) and then reconnect everything and if you have 2x ram modules only connect 1x ram module first and alternate the ram to see if the ram is not the issue of the laptop not booting properly or its the EC or Chipset chips that are causing this boot issue as this will reset the laptop and the laptop will boots properly. If the laptop still doesn't boot properly and you get a black screen take your laptop to a technician as it needs its EC chips changed or if its the chipset you need a new mainboard. Good luck and hope this helps you out further.

The AN715-51 battery can be reset like below but its 100% better to do a Hard Reset as it resets the EC chip and Chipset chips completely
