i have an acer xc840 and i have the 90w adapter i looked at the rx550 4gb ddr5 and it looks good

it says it is recomended for a 200w psu it uses 50w would this work as i have the 90w adapter

The standard XC-840 PSU is a 65W, the PSU for the systems that had a GPU added is 90W. Simple subtraction says you have a total of 25W (90-65) for the GPU, so you need to find a card that uses only that much power. The ones we've suggested will get you in under that limit.
