I unlocked bios and was changing memory settings to try and get my new Crucial 32gb to work as fast as the OG SK Hynix 16gb ones. I saw one option that said change mhz or something along those lines it was running at 1067 so I changed it to 2133 restarted and laptop wouldn't come on. So I tried removing bios battery, removing and shorting out terminals, and pressing battery reset button for long time as well. Seems like none of these reset the bios so laptop is broken now. Is there anything else I could do to actually get the bios to reset or am I just f^*{ed?

The Aspire E5-575G does not have an oem bios where you can change/increase ram speeds, unless your Aspire E5-575G laptop bios was unlocked to have the optional Advanced settings speeds for ram, as this laptop doesn't even have an Advanced section in its bios! The bios reset steps that you have done are partially correct, please try the below Hard Reset steps and see if this resets the bios and gives you access to the bios and makes your laptop boot.

Do a Hard Reset and see if that works. Take the main battery out first, disconnect the bios battery and then short the bios batteries + & - pins at the mainboard plug and take the ram out, leave the laptop like that for at least 1 hour (preferably overnight) and then reconnect everything and if you have 2x ram modules only connect 1x ram module first and alternate the ram to see if the bios resets and the laptop boots.

Note: the fastest ram for the Aspire E5-575G is the DDR4-2400MT/s type ram and even with the quickest 8th Gen Intel cpu the i7-8550U the Intel ram Memory Types is DDR4-2400, LPDDR3-2133, so no matter what you do to the bios you can't increase the ram speed beyond what the cpu can handle. Good luck and hope this helps you out.
