Hello. And my informative, for those who do not know some nuances, but are interested in technology, and perhaps will read a useful message, and a request. And by the way, yes, perhaps they will be interested in taking a soldering iron in their hands, because the devices also have nice bonuses. :).

I translate Google translate, my neighbor helps me "in the middle" with translations.

On business, I bought an Acer Aspire Switch One 10.

A pretty good device, in terms of mobility and convenience.

But ... alas, my well-wishers spoil my devices.

I recently noticed that a password appeared in my BIOS, which I did not set. Maybe you could help me with solving this issue? I'll describe it in more detail:

I wanted to register the product now, but.... but my emmc windows are erased, my "well-wishers" ruined it anyway, they do it according to well-established scenarios:

Well, in general, as I understand it, the BIOS of my device was flashed, and even with a password convenient for them, for the supervisor. So it is probably easier to get into the device in the same way. I went to the site to assign the device that I purchased to myself, and ask for help, including with possible flashing. I will tell you some points.

First, the network disappeared in my Windows. Then the driver for the position sensor repeatedly did not respond, and the touch screen was turned off. Now, as soon as a password appeared in the BIOS [Content Removed], some errors rained down in the Linux distributions, and before these errors the touch screen worked there, now it does not.

So the question is, what actions should I take to register and flash the device with a normal BIOS in this case? I can not find the SNID number. The device is from 2016. Probably this SNID did not exist yet? I did not pay attention to the utilities from your company, which had some keys, specifically by SNID in Windows. There is on the bottom cover of the docking station:

MQF Date:2016.03 and after it some long text with numbers without specifying what kind of text it is.

Also:

Model No: POYCY

Thank you.

Very likely you will have to have a good technician reflash the CMOS chip with a good BIOS image, but it's unlikely the BIOS itself is your issue. It sounds like there are other failures going on…
