    Overheating is not an issue for all gaming laptops and PCs, but it can occur after one or two years of intense gaming. Over time, the thermal paste can dry out, fans can accumulate dust, and air vents can become blocked.

    To address this, people often replace the thermal paste with a high-quality one and clean the laptop fans and air vents annually to ensure smooth operation.

    You should consider doing this as well. I can provide you with steps to achieve optimal cooling. If you're confident in your ability to do it yourself, you can proceed and i can provide you steps, or you can send it to a service center. However, be aware that this might be costly since the system may be out of warranty.

    Doing it yourself is often more cost-effective and manageable. YouTube videos may be available on this topic for your laptop, so check them out to see if you can handle it.

    Your Nitro 5 AN515-57 needs upgrading and updating as its performance would be greatly improved with the following components and software upgrades and updates:

    1. Upgrade the ram with adding at least 1x 8GB DDR4-3200MT/s CL22 to have dual channel 16GB ram (preferably its allot better to have 32GB ram in a kit form)
    2. Upgrade the M.2 SSD WD SN530 boot drive that is a slower PCIe3x4 NVMe 1.4 to what the boot drive of your AN515-57 laptop is which is an M.2 Gen 4 x4 slot.
    3. Upgrade the M.2 SSD1 boot drive to the Gen 4 x4 1TB Samsing 990 Pro NVMe, as this drive is the quickest around and doing this your laptops read/write performance will improve by at least 150% to what the WD SN530 read/write speeds are now.
    4. Make sure that the laptop is update to bios version 1.20, update windows, install the NVidia GeForce Experience and latest drivers so that you laptop will perform at its best performance.

    @AtharvaM

    "Plus usually in ANY game, the gpu sits at 86 and the cpu at 92 regularly…"

    The GPU's temperature should not be anywhere around 85C.

    You can disassemble the laptop, replace the thermal paste, and clean the fans.

    Or take it to a PC repair shop and ask them to clean your laptop.

    Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.
    Thank you and have a nice day!

    Overheating can be caused by poor ventilation, dust buildup, or failing cooling fans. Prevention: Ensure that your computer is well-ventilated, regularly clean the dust from your components, and check that all cooling fans are functioning correctly. To help reduce the temperature, you can place the Laptop on a hard, flat surface, clean the air vents and fans, adjust power settings, use a cooling pad, or turn off the Laptop when not in use. If necessary, monitoring the temperature and consulting a professional is also recommended
