We do artwork using CorelDraw and other programs. Which Desktop PC would be best? Gaming? We would want a standalone larger old style not a compact or all in one.

For graphics intensive programs you are mainly looking for a few things. First o0f all the system should be booting from a SSD and have plenty of storage. You might find that a second drive just for data storage is indicated there. Secondly, you need a lot of memory to deal with the various image layer manipulation, so look for 32GB or larger. Third you want to offload as much rendering power to a GPU as possible, so a dedicated GPU card is likely going to be best. The gaming desktops shown here are perfect for that, though you can achieve nearly the same performance with an upgraded commercial desktop as well. If you were looking at laptops instead of desktops I'd look at the ConceptD line, since they are designed for graphic professionals.
