AN515-44-R99Q disconnecting from Scarlett solo randomly

I've been using a scarlett solo with my nitro 5 for a while now and pretty much the whole time its had issues with disconnecting randomly. The audio cuts out from my headphones, but the unit is still powered and receiving microphone input. The only way to get my sound back is by disconnecting and reconnecting the Scarlett or changing its buffer size which forces it to restart. I've tried so many different fixes and have reached out to Focusrite countless times but nothing seems to work. Wondering if there are any ideas?

It also seems to happen more while gaming than anything else and is usually accompanied by a stutter where I'll drop all of my FPS for a second. Once I'm past the stutter, the headphone output stays off. The stuttering has been a thing for a while now, I plan to repaste this week with K5 pro and regular thermal paste to see if that makes any difference. Honestly just so tired of this happening.
