Loose Jack/port of Acer AN515-58 laptop keeps connecting and disconnecting

I have 1 year old Acer AN515-58 laptop with a 280 watt power brick. From past few months, the port seems to be loose or there is some issue with the jack. It's a bit loose and i have tried to tape it and placed something under it to push the connector just enough to keep it connected to power source. I do play heavy games and the jack gets very hot and the connection/disconnection gets worse. Nothings seems to work. Service center is bit far away and i have broken the warranty likely by installing RAM and SSD. I opened the back panel and connected the charger cable directly and it fit perfectly. Went to a store and they say you should replace the port. But, port is loose only after the panel is placed back. I have a feeling that it could be pin the port went a bit inside…may be. Am I alone in this situation? Any suggestions?

Make this is the adapter type you are using with the correct plug pin size 5.5 mm / 1.7 mm: Acer Nitro 5 (AN515-58) original ac-adapter 280.0 Watt - sparepartworld.com (ipc-computer.eu) you should hear a click when the DC plug is fully inserted in the laptop port.
As you noticed, the DC port is soldered to the motherboard so to replace the socket you need to bring the laptop to Acer Services in your country, this is not an expensive repair job.
